Harry Nass Centre 1 and 2 - Editor UK Windsurf Magazine

The Harry Nass centres combined create the biggest JP centre with Neil Pryde in the world. Both the UK Windsurf magazine and the German SURF magazine use the centres for equipment testing and feature articles respectively and many major events are hosted by the centres throughout the year.
The Harry Nass Centres are privately owned by Elke and Harry Nass who offer clients a world class venue from which to enjoy Dahab.
The facilites are outstanding with boards, sail and tutition to suit every level of sailor including children. Every member of staff has been in Dahab for more than 4 seasons and know the resort, sailing areas and conditions exceptionally well.

Harry Nass Centre 1
Situated 5m from the sheltered lagoon, centre 1 enjoys an ideal launching and return point for any level of sailor. If you walk in a straight line from the centre into the lagoon the water is only knee to hip deep so the option to walk rather than sail back to the centre is available for those with tired legs! More competent sailors can sail from the video towers into area 2. The nearest hotel to Centre 1 is Coralia situated 50m away.
Harry Nass Centre 2
Situated 5m from the water's edge, centre 2 enjoys an ideal launching point for more competent sailors wishing to sail to the sheltered lagoon or sail directly on a reach into area 2. Beginner sailors based at this centre are taken by the complimentary boat shuttle service to Centre 1 to sail in the sheltered lagoon. The boat is available upon request at any time as many times as you like during the day to travel between centres. The journey time from one centre to the other by boat is 1 - 2 minutes. The nearest hotel to Centre 2 is Dahabaya (Iberotel) situated 5m away.
Harry Nass Centre 3: NEW FOR 2009
Situated 5m from the water's edge, centre 3 was a new edition to the Harry Nass corporation in 2008. Centre 3 also enjoys an ideal launching point for more competent sailors wishing to sail to the sheltered lagoon or sail directly on a reach into area 2. Beginner sailors based at this centre are taken by the complimentary boat shuttle service to Centre 1 to sail in the sheltered lagoon. The boat is available upon request at any time as many times as you like during the day to travel between centres. The journey time from one centre to the other by boat is 1 - 2 minutes. The nearest hotel to Centre 3 is the Swiss Inn situated 20m away.

The Harry Nass centres combined create the biggest JP centre with Neil Pryde in the world with a choice of over 550 boards and 650 sails. We recommend you pre-book your board. PRO EDITION BOARDS
For advanced sailors looking to take advantage of the light, early planing board features and to get the most out of their time on the water.
FULL-WOOD SANDWICH BOARDS: UNDER 130 LITRES
Excellent for every sailor looking to improve their sailing from an intermediate level upwards.
IMPROVER BOARDS: OVER 130 LITRES
For absolute beginners through to intermediate sailors who are looking to perfect core windsurfing skills such as waterstart, footstraps and harness sailing. Alternatively for light wind conditions and the need for bigger sails.
NEIL PRYDE SAILS
All our sails are Neil Pryde and range from 1.5m kiddies rigs up to 8.5 metres. You can change your sail size as many times as you would like during the day. Our instructors and rigging team are on-hand to help you decide which sail to take according to the conditions.
ROB HORNE WINDSURF CLINICS

Rob has been teaching windsurfing for over 15 years and is highly regarded by the international windsurf community. Having started his career at the world renowned Micheal Bouwmeister Centre in Lake Garda Rob gradually developed his own unique teaching style which has become exceptionally popular due to its methodical nature and its high success rate. In 2007 Rob became a JP/Neil Pryde sponsored rider.
Lessons take place 7 days a week in small groups and are suitable for beginner to advanced sailors. A variety of courses are available during the day with times, course structure and locations dictated by the wind conditions and the student's ability. The courses offer an excellent mix of theory and practical and also video sessions for those learning the jibe and beyond.

HARRY NASS KITESURF CLINICS
Having previously worked as a surf centre manager for several large companies, our instructor Gunnar Palm introduced comprehensive kitesurf clinics to the Harry Nass Centre in 2005. These have proved immensely successful due to their focus on continuous learning and are now the only clinics still available in the bay due to popular demand. The Harry Nass Centres offer a wide range of courses from introduction to kitesurfing to advanced wave and downwind sessions.
Languages: English and German.
Gunnar is a German trained VDWS kitesurf instructor and is personally of a very high kitesurf standard - he is often to be found hovering above the waves in area 3! He has a good knowledge of the technical aspects of kitesurfing and aerodynamics due to his training in aircraft mechanics and has an excellent working knowledge of boards and kites which he is happy to pass onto the clients. The German VDWS qualification is recognised by the International kiteboarding organisation (IKO).
Lessons take place 7 days a week in small groups and are suitable for beginner to advancd sailors. A variety of courses and kitesurf excursions are available with times, course structure and locations dictated by the tides, wind conditions and the student's ability. The courses offer an excellent mix of theory and practical with helmet radios so the instructor is in constant communication with each student.
